The business are a leading waste management and recycling organisation seeking a proactive Environmental Assistant to support multiple sites across the UK. Working as part of an integrated SHEQ team, and reporting into the Head of SHEQ, you will join an expanding business who are moving into export markets and diversifying their business operations.

This role offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to be based at either their main site in Preston, Lancashire or their second site in Hitchin, near Luton. You will work alongside Head of SHEQ with on the job training and development.

The Role:

• Conduct site visits, audits, and inspections to ensure environmental compliance.
• Graduate Environmental Advisor
• Nationwide Travel
• Day to day diversity
• £32,000 - £38,000 + £3,500 Car Allowance + Training + Progression + Development + Flexible Hours + Private Healthcare + Pension
• The Person:

Experience in waste management, recycling, utilities, heavy industry or high-risk environmental sectors (e.g. steelworks or metalworks)
Willingness to obtain IEMA certification with company support
Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays.
