We are pleased to be working with an established education provider near Telford to recruit a new Health and Safety Manager to the business.
Managing a Health and Safety Advisor and Administrator and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be managing safety with a strategic and proactive approach.
You will be working alongside staff at all levels across various departments to promote safe working and a positive culture.
As Health and Safety Manager you will:
- Develop and maintain an affective Health and Safety management system across the site – implementing policies, procedures, and best practice
- Provide guidance and advice on safety matters to staff and management across all departments
- Manage the Health and Safety audit programme, following up on actions and escalating where required
- Present reports on safety performance, trends, and plans to senior management and board members
- Work with the Health and Safety team to conduct inspections and risk assessments to identify key risks and implement suitable measures
- This is an extremely varied and unique site with students studying a range of subjects and a diverse risk profile

- A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
