Interim Health and Safety Advisor

Principal People are partnered with a well renowned freight organisation based at Heathrow who are looking for an Interim Health and Safety Advisor (Nights) on an initial 2-3 month basis covering Night shifts at their Heathrow warehouse location.

This role will be to offer a visible health and safety presence on site, offering general health and safety advice, complete site walks and inspections, provide up to date reports of the site and to be the point of contact for any Health and Safety concerns people may have on site.

They are looking for a strong verbal communicator and the role is to pay a daily rate of £350-400/day (Outside IR35). The requirement for this role is 12-hour shift on a 4-on 4-off basis given the shift patterns at the location.

The successful Interim Health and Safety Advisor will:

• NEBOSH General qualified (or Equivalent)
• Have experience within warehousing / freight / logistics / manufacturing / transport or transferable environments
• Experience of working with forklift truck risks
• Be available at short notice
• Be happy to work 12 hour night shifts
• Be an engaging, strong communicator able to liaise at all levels.
