The Opportunity
  • This position supports individuals transitioning from prison into safe, self-contained, or shared accommodations across Derby.
  • It’s a chance to guide people toward stability and independence, offering both practical housing support and empathetic care.
What’s on Offer
  • Consistent schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am – 6:30 pm
  • Variety and independence: A role blending team collaboration with independent decision-making
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure properties are well-maintained, secure, and move-in ready.
  • Provide tailored housing support to People on Probation, helping them adapt and succeed.
  • Build trusting relationships while addressing emergencies and resolving conflicts.
  • Oversee property upkeep and manage reports of Anti-Social Behaviour.
What Makes the Ideal Candidate?
  • Strong communicator with excellent organizational skills and resilience.
  • Experience in social housing and supporting individuals facing challenges like homelessness or trauma.
  • Empathetic, adaptable, and professional in all interactions.
  • A valid driver’s license and confidence working independently.
