How our team feel
Our team were asked to explore their thoughts and feelings behind our CSR efforts within Principal People. Collectively we all agree that our impact, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. We collaborate as smaller crucial parts in larger initiatives such as TreeApp's plant a tree campaign, to help out our planet.

Supporting Charitable Causes
WWF
WWF’s mission is close to all our hearts, to create a world where people and nature can thrive together.
Sight for Surrey
Sight for Surrey provides highly specialist support for people with sensory loss, which is close to us as one of our team members is registered blind.
Brake
With health and safety at the heart of what we do, Brake wants a world where everyone is free to move in a safe and healthy way every day.
Frimley Health
We partner with Frimley Health as they are a local hospital that have helped and saved some of our team and their families.

Larger initiatives
Our non-profit organisation
S4G Network is a non-profit organisation we founded in 2018 to give back to the Safety and Sustainability community.
Fast-forward 6 years, and through success and continuous support from the safety community, we expanded our efforts into providing mentoring programs, supporting industry charities, and hosting our very own events.
Our collaboration with TreeApp
We are part of a new partnership between The Juhler Group and TreeApp, aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability and transparency through our 'Plant a Tree Campaign.' This collaboration underscores The Juhler Group's commitment to environmental protection and the local communities.
As part of this initiative, Juhler Group pledges to plant one tree for every position we fill. Treeapp, a global tree planting organization, operates sites across the world, planting over 200 different species of trees across five continents.
Our partnership with The UN Global Compact
As participants, we commit to meeting the four key fundamental responsibilities: human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
We choose to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies.
People are at the heart of everything we do, and in turn, so are labour rights.
We are committed to ensuring that all of our colleagues and candidates can expect equal pay for equal work, a liveable wage, and healthy and safe work environments.
What our team thinks

It was critical for me to join a purpose driven business whose values were loyal to my own. Our work in supporting the Marine Conservation, TreeApp and our S4G programme are testament to how seriously we take our CSR commitments and I'm personally proud to support these programmes.

CSR is a key part of our business, and we incorporate social and environmental concerns into our day-to-day business operations. We connect with our local and global communities through beach cleaning days to supporting nearby charities, and are working towards reducing global climate change through our Tree App initiative.

This year alone we have contributed towards improving our local and global communities through beach cleaning, raising money for a local charity Sight For Surrey, and tackling the wider effort to reduce global climate change through our Tree App initiative.
